INVITATION

SEMINAR – CZECH AEROSPACE INDUSTRY

The Czech aerospace industry is based on a long tradition and continuity which goes back more than 90 years. Generations of Czech engineers and designers have accumulated a wealth of experience and skill which culminated in the design of some of the most advanced and successful aircraft designs of their times.

These special abilities are appreciated by various foreign companies such as Honeywell or GE Aviation who have established their design centres and production facilities in the Czech Republic or Airbus/Latecoere, Sikorski and Alenia who have had substantial parts of their products made by Czech manufacturers.

The Czech Republic’s aerospace industry is one of the pinnacles of the advanced mechanical-engineering and defence industries of the country. Its base consists of more than 500 mechanical-engineering companies, several technical universities and secondary schools and a high number of experienced engineers and technicians skilled in the design and manufacturing of aircraft and various subassemblies/assemblies.

The Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Montreal in collaboration with the government agency CzechInvest will be hosting a seminar with presentations of the most prominent Czech aerospace companies and institutions represented on the highest level. Come hear and see the potential of collaboration with one of the most advanced aerospace industry in the European Union. Participants of the seminar will be served lunch.
